The environment and equipment monitoring system is normally called as BAS in metro industry of our country. It is a system which can comprehensively and efficiently monitor and manage station equipment, such as HVAC system, water supplying and drainage system, elevator system, low-voltage power distributing and power lighting system. It can monitor the equipment’s running status automatically, timely, on site and in real time, and can control the power’s off and on. It also can test environmental parameters, adjust and control environmental comfort and manage energy saving. Besides, it can collect and process related information and handle the historical records and equipment maintenance. All these assure that the equipment can be in its best situation in terms of safety, reliability,efficiency and energy-saving so that a comfortable train environment can be created. When traffic jams occur, it can help to coordinate the equipment operation and make good use of all the equipment in order to assure passengers’ safety and equipment  normal operation.
